Keeping our hotels running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience, and as our Maintenance Handyperson you will keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork.

Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facilities and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems
  • Assist the team with essential business checks
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work via our Property Management System
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre employment and ongoing screening checks.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in bathroom maintenance, specifically tiling, water proofing, silicon and grouting,
  • Experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs, preferably within the Hospitality Industry,
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and blueprints,
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse and fast paced role often prioritising multiple tasks effectively,
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work, and;
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
